Da boys and da goil at Taste of Encino 2007: From left, John Bryan, Paul Dorn, Edie Murphy, Jarrett Lesko, George Biner
Now, with FIDDLE!
We have no excuses -- do we ever have excuses? -- But we have not updated the music files since Edie joined us in May. Then Jeff left and Paul D. came aboard and then Paul M. left and George came aboard and it was all we could do to keep the photos current. But the sounds remained the same -- the Flaw as it was two years ago. Not bad back then, mind you, but not the same band.
So you wanted free samples (what do you think this is, some warehouse store?). Oh, all right....

New Website coming soon!
Meantime, if you're into nostalgia, below is all the old stuff....
Murphy's Flaw: We're on the map!
Here's where we'll be playing between August and the end of October. None of the appearances are near you? Then move! Honestly, do we have to do everything for you?
Scenes of the Crimes against Bluegrass
Welcome Paul D.!
We're pleased as punch (with a fifth of Everclear added) to welcome Paul Dorn to the group. Paul also plays in
VinFizFlyer, a great bluegrass band out Pasadena way. Sings Tenor. Plays string bass. Good with children. However, it's now getting a mite confusing with two Pauls in the band, so you may find this Pauls Tutorial helpful:
Welcome Edie!
Yeah, that's right. After a long and painful search involving looking at Craig's List every weekend, and hanging out around violin shops wearing a raincoat and sunglasses, we finally went to Bluegrass Fiddle Godfather Richard Greene and said, "We want a WOMAN! (Fiddler)."
The days ran together, our lives dragged on without meaning. Oh, sure, there were the groupies, the limos, the paparazzi following us everywhere. But our lives were like sand sifting through the hourglass.....
Eventually, Richard came through and introduced us to his student who is now our new fiddler, Edie.
Her last name? Murphy!
Cosmic.
